What are reed diffusers and how do they work?

Our Reed diffusers use natural rattan reeds that absorb the fragrance oil mixture through tiny little holes in the reeds and release the scent into the air. This creates a constant, flame-free home fragrance that is low maintenance and long-lasting. 

How long do reed diffusers last?

We find that most of our reed diffusers last between 3–4 months depending on room temperature, airflow, and the number of reeds used.

Do reed diffusers work in large rooms?

Yes, but larger spaces may require more reeds or multiple diffusers for the best scent coverage.

Where is the best place to put a reed diffuser?

We recommend placing reed diffusers in high-traffic areas such as entry-ways, hallways, living rooms, and bathrooms. The constant air movement helps distribute the fragrance more evenly and effectively.

Do I need to flip my reeds in my reed diffuser?

No. Our rattan reeds work to draw the fragrance up through the tiny holes in the reeds. Flipping the reeds can negatively affect the performance and how the reeds are able to diffuse and throw fragrance. 

How can I make my reed diffuser smell stronger?

To increase the strength of your reed diffuser, you can add more reeds. 6-8 reeds will give you the strongest scent throw. Certain scents are just naturally lighter than others which will give off less throw even with more reeds.
